Description
The Solstice Celtic Knot Necklace is inspired by the Winter Solstice, known to be the shortest day of the year. This piece is directly inspired by the Winter Solstice, specifically at Newgrange, and the view through the passage tomb. The light from the rising sun, if visible, lights up the inner chamber of the 5,000-year-old passage tomb, breaking through a narrow slot. The gold bead here can be symbolic of that light breaking through the darkness. The Solstice Celtic Knot Necklace here is magnificently made in sterling silver and 18k yellow gold.
